In fact, after we have completed the production of bent pipe processing parts, in order to ensure their quality and performance, we need to conduct a series of tests on them. During the inspection process, we believe that the compaction degree should be checked one by one. At present, eddy current testing technology is mainly used to detect the tightness of bent pipe workpieces.

 

After testing the compaction parameters, it is necessary to conduct relevant inspections on the outer diameter and wall thickness of the product to ensure that the outer diameter and wall thickness of the bent pipe processing parts are within the allowable deviation and comply with the corresponding regulations and requirements. In general, the allowable deviation of its outer diameter is+0.50mm-0.20mm, and the allowable deviation of its wall thickness is+0.97mm-0.77mm. Before that, we also need to check its appearance and quality, mainly the degree of bending processing, which should be within 1.0mm/m/m.

 

In addition, it is necessary to ensure that the end faces of the bent pipe workpiece are perpendicular to the axis and remove burrs on the cut surface. Afterwards, we also need to check its weight. In our work, we can deliver according to the actual weight or theoretical weight. In theory, the theoretical weight per meter of workpiece should be 13.115 kg/m.

 

We also need to check the actual length of the bent pipe processing parts, of course, this is mainly determined by the negotiation between the supply and demand sides to determine the final length requirements. In addition, the allowable deviation of the chemical composition of the finished product in the workpiece also needs to comply with relevant regulations. For the delivery status, we can use hot-rolled delivery.

 

In addition to the above requirements, we also need to test the mechanical properties of the bent pipe processed parts. Generally, it is required that the mechanical properties of bent pipe processed parts should meet the requirements of N80 grade steel in API Spec 5CT after appropriate heat treatment.
